and characters to learn the basics of programming
and animation.
- Robotics at the Robot Zoo

In this workshop, you’ll study some fundamentals of robotics. You’ll learn
basic engineering as you build animal robots that
can walk, crawl, hop and roll! After you assemble
your creation, you will learn to program its behaviors
so that your robot will act like its real animal cousin.
- Wireless Treasure Hunt
- You will learn about wireless
technologies by hunting down clues for a
“buried” treasure. You will use laptops to find all
the clues which will unlock the code to the final
treasure.
- You Ought To Be In Pixels
- Lights! Camera! Action!
Shoot a movie, learn to edit it with iMovie and
add a sound-track. Maybe there’s an Oscar with
your name on it!
- What's in the Box?
- What’s a mother-board look like? Or a micro-chip?
This hands-on session will explore the inside
of a personal computer. Screwdrivers provided!
- Persona Magazine
- What is your persona? What would best define an
extension of your personality? Using Photoshop
we will design magazine “covers” that thematically
reflect your persona’s characteristics.
