Dr. Keith Miller

Since 1993, Dr. Miller has averaged about a grant per year, including a major NSF grant for helping computer science faculty learn and teach about computer ethics. In 2000, he was named a University of Illinois Scholar, and awarded $30,000 for his research. He received the 2006 ACM SIGCAS Outstanding Service Award, and has been named the editor-in-chief of the IEEE Technology & Society journal. He also volunteers as the Associate Director of the Emiquon Field Station, a joint project with the Nature Conservancy and the UIS Biology Department.    Since 1993, Dr. Miller’s vita lists 34 journal articles, 16 book chapters or web collection contributions, 42 conference papers in  referred proceedings, 33 other conference presentations, and 72 panel presentations, workshops led, and invited talks and papers.
